Our planet’s resources are finite. psd is acutely aware of its responsibilities to minimise the company’s impact on the environment. We review our operational practices continually, striving to identify improvements. We are committed to the following ecological principles:
- Encouraging maximum re-use and recycling of products & materials

Across psd group, staff are actively involved in supporting a range of charitable organisations and activities. In addition, all employees receive one day of paid leave each year to carry out volunteering work in any of the company’s chosen charities, as nominated by staff.
psd was first awarded the Payroll Giving Platinum Award by the Charities Aid Foundation in 2014 – and was awarded its second Platinum Award in June 2015. These awards were made in recognition of support for three charities chosen by staff: Cash For Kids (Manchester), Chestnut Tree House (Haywards Heath) and Kids Company (London) between 2006 and 2015.
To be awarded the second Platinum Award, we needed to achieve an overall increase in the value of donations or number of donors on previous years and for more than 20% of employees to contribute to the payroll giving scheme (in the event, 30% of psd employees chose to participate). psd matched all staff donations and covered administration charges for the scheme.
We want psd to be an outstanding place to work.
Whether you’re a consultant, a manager or a member of our support staff, psd should be rewarding, challenging and enjoyable. Recognising the achievements of our people is a vital part of our culture.
We work hard, but have a lot of fun, too, and believe that this balance is vital to the success and happiness of the organisation. Incentive schemes such as our team awards ensure that staff have the opportunity to relax and socialise together.
