psd judge the 2018 Customer Experience Awards

Rob Dermott, Director of psd’s Customer Contact practice, recently judged the UK 2018 Customer Experience Awards. This is one of the most important events in the calendar for Customer Experience (CX) professionals across the UK.

Held at Wembley in October each year, the UK Customer Experience Awards has become the biggest CX event of its kind in the world. Now in its 9th year, the awards recognise those inspiring organisations who are delivering an outstanding customer experience. This year around 700 professionals attended the event from across the UK and internationally, and over 30 categories were judged.

 

The awards aim to celebrate diverse cross-sector enterprises by bringing together in one place the leading examples of great customer experience innovations. From the use of technology to improved staff training, the event welcomes examples of all initiatives in business and industry.

 

Rob Dermott judged the Best Employee Engagement – Voice of Employees along with five other judges. It was a great field of entries, including BT Enterprise Customer Service in partnership with Bluesky Performance Improvement, EE, Revolution Bars in partnership with InMoment, Mears Group, TTEC and the ultimate Winner –  Bristan Group. Rob was able to personally congratulate Giles Owen, Head of Customer Service. The passion and engagement his team has for colleague engagement is outstanding and they were worthy winners.

 

Rob has over 20 years’ recruitment experience in the Contact Centre and Customer Experience sectors, making him one of the leading recruiters in the industry. Over this time he has seen the industry change into the dynamic sector it is today. With a specialisation in Senior to Executive levels he has helped numerous clients shape their customer focussed functions. He has also met 1000’s of industry professionals across all aspects of customer delivery, customer experience and innovation. This is Rob’s fourth year judging at the UK Customer Experience Awards.
