PSD Group Awarded Clear Assured Silver Standard


In a significant step in their Diversity and Inclusion journey, a leading international executive recruitment consultancy, specialising in executive, management and board level recruitment, PSD Group has achieved Clear Assured Silver Standard.

Clear Assured Silver Standard is awarded to businesses that demonstrate that diversity and inclusion are reflected across all policies and processes.  It reflects their commitment to continuously improve and create an inclusive experience for all employees embedded not only into day-to-day operations but owned at a strategic level with long term objectives and measurement in place.

This is a result of all the hard work they have put in, and it’s based on that fact that D&I is a strategic objective for PSD. Clear Assured, the global Diversity and Inclusion Standard is a D&I web application that provides organisations with the D&I expertise and direction needed to support their appetite for authentic and fundamental culture change.  Containing the Clear Company’s knowledge, rigorous processes and understanding of what works, the Global Standard is regularly updated with the latest thinking and directs users to activity with proven benefit. With its continuous improvement approach, consistent progression is dependent on a passion to instigate change and challenge current thinking.

Having achieved the Bronze standard earlier this year there was no doubt about our commitment to continue to progress and PSD continues to see these Clear Assured accreditations as business critical. The pathway to Silver required a much greater degree of reflection and challenge. To achieve Silver is affirmation that we have now embedded the D&I agenda in all our internal and external processes, policies and thinking and we look forward to continuing to learn and refine our thinking as we move forward together with the Clear Company.

PSD has put a big emphasis on authentic culture transformation, by actively engaging with Clear Assured evidenced by progressing to Silver in one quarter. Having started their overall Clear Assured journey only in the beginning of the year, this is a great confirmation of the proactiveness PSD has evidenced.

PSD have also taken an impressive intersectional approach, which has been showcased by offering various training opportunities, increased awareness of all protected characteristics, highlighting inclusive leadership as a core pillar within their D&I strategy, and making sure their policies including recruitment and selection, reasonable adjustments and race equality policy underpin their overall D&I Strategy.

46% of all Clear Assured users are within recruitment sector, and currently Silver accredited Recruiters are PSD and Hoggett Bowers! All in all, out of all the Clear Assured organisations, 20% are currently accredited Silver. In addition to PSD and Hoggett Bowers, these include, for example, National Highways, DWF Law and Lloyds of London. This is a reassuring number and evidence of PSD being one of the progressive organisations staying ahead of competitors in this space.
