Well done to psd Manchester who raised a fantastic £5,612 in 2018 for one of our chosen charities, Cash for Kids, who support disadvantaged and disabled children in the Greater Manchester area. The team raised the funds by taking part in fundraising activities, payroll giving, and a climb to the top of Snowdon!

The money we have donated to Cash for Kids will be used to fund local projects and organisations that help disadvantaged and disabled children in Greater Manchester, dealing with issues such as poverty, abuse, neglect and short life expectancy.

We are particularly proud that over 90% of psd Manchester staff participate in payroll giving, and that psd has twice been awarded the Payroll Giving Platinum Award by the Charities Aid Foundation. psd match what the staff donate, plus offer each member of staff one day extra of paid leave per year to volunteer in one of our chosen charities. Last year, the team used this paid day to take on Mt Snowden, which alone raised over £1500.

The team has some wonderful plans for 2019, which began with a superhero theme to one our legendary psd quiz nights for Superhero day.

Cash for Kids support many other groups doing wonderful things for disadvantaged children. Here at psd we are proud to play a part in this, and we look forward to supporting them over the next 12 months.
