The benefits that emerging technologies bring are well understood – what’s less understood are the risks they bring and how to manage these.

Traditional risks like cyber-security are increased but in addition there are newer risks associated with the use of emerging technologies.

As they become more pervasive there is increased interest from media, regulators and more generally the public and we need to develop an approach that maximizes the benefits and minimizes the risks in order to fully and confidently reap the benefits.

We invite you to enjoy a round table event which will provide you with an opportunity to network with industry peers whilst putting the spotlight on issues at the forefront of the industry. The event will begin with short insightful talks from our Guest Speaker, Sofia Ihsan (Trusted AI Lead, EY), and our other industry special guests. This will be followed by a chaired open floor discussion around key topics including:

  • Why are emerging technologies like AI different?
  • What is the regulatory landscape?
  • What practical steps can we take to get comfortable as technology risk professionals?

This will be followed by the opportunity to network with your peers with drinks and canapes served from 6:30PM.
