psd group are exclusively partnering with a pre-investment stage SaaS/Technology business based in the heart of Manchester City Centre who is looking for a new Finance Director. In line with the new private equity investment strategy, this newly created role will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the financial health of the organisation when leading them towards an exit. Bringing expertise and a dynamic approach will be instrumental in driving financial growth and supporting the company’s international expansion plans.

The role will include:

• Financial Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis and market trends
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Conduct regular financial analysis, identify key performance indicators, and provide insights to drive informed decision-making
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operational needs and optimize financial performance. Implement effective cash management strategies and identify commercial opportunities for growth
• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks by implementing robust internal controls, policies, and procedures. Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards
• Investor Relations: Collaborate with the executive team to develop investor relations strategies and materials. Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for the new investors, demonstrating the company’s financial strength and growth potential
• Team Leadership: Leading a high-performing and dynamic team across several functions

Package: between £100,000 to £110,000 + bonus + future equity

You will be a fully qualified accountant and have had experience working within a data driven and fast-paced organisation ideally has been on a growth journey. Having worked in a software, SaaS or a technology business or within private equity would be very beneficial.
