We have a current opportunity for a Estates Surveyor on a permanent basis. The position will be based in London. For further information about this position please apply.

My client is a leading Retail business with an extensive national portfolio. As a result of continued growth, they are looking for an Estates Surveyor to support a closeknit internal Property team.

This role plays a pivotal part in managing the real estate interests across our portfolio; supporting the property team on acquisitions, lease renewals/re-negotiations and disposals in line with agreed strategy, to ensure the best terms are achieved.

What will you do as an Estates Surveyor?

The role involves overseeing various aspects of property management, including rent reviews, lease renewals, and disposals.

This includes collaborating with external consultants when necessary. Additionally, the position requires preparing materials for property board meetings and maintaining an up-to-date database related to leases and property agreements. The individual will take the lead in negotiations with landlords and property agents, ensuring optimal lease terms and value for the company.

They will work closely with store design and maintenance teams to address issues with landlords and minimize costs. Furthermore, the role involves assisting with service charges and business rates to ensure efficient cost management.

Finally, the individual will gather data from external sources to evaluate potential property sites in high street, shopping center, and transportation hub locations.
