We have a current opportunity for a Property Project Manager on a permanent basis. For further information about this position please apply.

My client is a leading Leisure business (pubs / Hotels) with a large diverse national property portfolio.

The role:

• delivering new pubs and reinvestment projects on time, on budget and to the required standard
• directly controlling and managing all consultants and contractors forming part of these programmes, as well as working with team members to monitor progress
• identifying, specifying, and managing large repair projects
• supporting the operations team to achieve well-maintained pubs and hotels

Main responsibilities:

• managing and delivering nominated property projects
• managing external consultants, contractors, and architects; procuring new contractors and consultants, when necessary
• challenging cost, quality, and delivery – at every stage of a project
• working with other departments and consultants to ensure that projects follow health and safety guidelines and are safe, legal, and compliant
• holding regular project-liaison meetings to review individual pub projects and designs, ensuring that the right long-term solution is delivered
• working closely with, and providing ongoing support and development for, regional maintenance managers

Skills required:

• experience of managing new-build and refurbishment projects
• a can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
• ability to communicate and develop relationships with a wide variety of people
• multisite management skills, ideally within a pub operation
• dynamic, persuasive, and confident, with the ability to constructively challenge current processes
• degree educated in a related field; MRICS (or working towards)/CIOB preferred
