Psd is working with a thriving multidisciplinary organisation based in Central London, who is looking for a Financial Controller to join their passionate team to work collaboratively to achieve business goals and objectives. With the business going through an exciting opening very soon, this very broad role will give either a qualified accountant or QBE individual with hospitality background an opportunity to add real value to their future career and development.

The role will include:

• Leading and controlling the finance function of the property
• Coaching and managing the small team within the finance department and sharing the brand standards practice and knowledge.
• Processing payments reconciliation and correct postings of payments to guest accounts
• Processing of payroll for the property in timely and accurate manner
• Updating and monitoring P&L forecasts and conducting variance analysis to identify cost savings and productivity opportunities for departmental heads.
• Implementing and maintaining accounting practices in accordance with company policy and procedures to minimize risk
• Monitoring costs vs budgets within the hotel and recommending actions to the General Manager to maximise financial returns
• Managing hotel contracts, including vendor leases and service contracts.
• Ensuring that all daily, weekly and monthly finance deadlines, tasks and processes have been complied with, including internal and external audit, purchase ledger, sales ledger, purchase ordering.
• Preparing management accounts pack for the property, including balance sheet reconciliations.
• Seeking ways to maintain, improve and effectively work within the finance department and actively engaging to promote Personal Development within the business.
• Working closely with General Manager to drive business dynamics

Salary is up to £50k + bonus + benefits. The role will be office based.
