About the Client:

• A long and varied project pipeline encompassing minor and major private and public sector energy projects.

About the Role:

• Overall accountability for all electrical control elements for a broad range of public and private sector projects nationally.
• Accountable to ensure that all relevant technical standards, codes, policies, and compliance measures are met by all internal resources and subcontractors.
• Proactively manage and assess relevant discipline associated risks.
• Audits all procedures, competence levels and service contracts to ensure 100% compliance.
• Provide cradle-to-grave technical support internally to ensure that the optimal technical solutions are proposed, delivered, and maintained.

What we are looking for:

• Significant previous experience within electrical controls engineering. 
• Comfortable supervising and directing large internal and subcontractor teams across a wide range of national projects. 
• Previous exposure or knowledge within the renewable energy and decarbonisation solutions sector is ideal, but not essential.
• Recognised as a proactive and knowledgeable thought leader within the materials and building fabric discipline. • Technical Degree + Chartered Engineer status.

About the Offer:

• Base salary c. £70k – £80k.
• Company car or cash allowance.
• Lucrative bonus scheme (Up to 40%).
