We have a current opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The position will be based in London. For further information about this position please apply.

Our client is an innovative and highly successful property company who have a number of real estate projects where they are involved in development, asset management, construction and corporate services.  They need to recruit a senior management accountant role for preparing management accounts for a number of their projects. Some projects have monthly accounts but the majority of management accounts on a quarterly basis.

The Main Duties for the Successful Candidate will be:

• Monthly consolidated and standalone management accounts preparations.
• Management accounts to include standard accounting entries including lease calculations and rent spreading journals preparations
• Annual consolidated and standalone management accounts and trial balances for preparation of financial statements preparations.
• Preparation of financial statements in word for UK entities.
• Review of financial statements if produced by advisors in Luxembourg or Jersey.
• Liaison with the shareholders finance team on any financial queries.
• Preparing the year end audit file and answering audit queries.
• Review and assist project accountant, who deals with invoice inputting, VAT returns, CIS, investor drawdowns and payment runs.
• Other Ad Hoc requirements for reports, analysis and other information including budgeting and cashflow management. 
• Assist FC with liaising with advisors and project directors on reporting to shareholders.
• Assist FC with company secretary work including attending meetings and drafting minutes.

Key Skills for the New Appointee are:

• Technical accounting skills.
• Good Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Service orientation – working for clients and working closely with external advisors and shareholder finance team.
• Good verbal and written skills.
• Property and Real Estate experience including asset management/ service charge is desirable.
