Microsoft Consultant/Senior Project manager

Drive change to deliver a secure and resilient Microsoft platform to its full potential and maximise the benefits to the client.
Clearly understand opportunities and benefits to maximise ROI and continuously strive to communicate this to key stakeholders to support adoption. Promote capability of Microsoft tools/services by engaging with employees across the organisation to gain support and buy in. Manage all Microsoft related initiatives within IS to support Digitalisation roadmap for Collaboration. Coordinate and lead IS resources to work together support the delivery of the roadmap. Act as focal point within IS for all Microsoft related matters and escalations. Manage all Microsoft related commercial contracts and relationships. Mentor IS staff to support their development focussed on the adoption and change management of Microsoft technologies.
Produce detailed programme plan and reporting for all Microsoft (including O365) initiatives to support roadmap. Establish governance and quality assurance to company’s leadership for all Microsoft initiatives supported by KPIs to measure progress and success. Create adoption and change management strategy that can be repeated to support continuous deployment of Microsoft technologies and execute against it. Drive the creation of an integrated communication plan to support adoption and change management. Work closely with key IS stakeholders, in particular, information management and security, to ensure the communication and adoption of Microsoft end user tools also conforms to their requirements. Provide guidance on Microsoft best practices and be confident challenging existing approaches to recommend fit for purpose solutions. Ensure the company’s Microsoft estate technical architecture is robust and resilient, and ensure it is documented, understood and maintained.
Manage relationship with Microsoft including premier support and account manager. Act is focal point of contact for all Microsoft related matters and escalations. Produce and establish Microsoft support model which should be fit for the company’s need and ensure roles and expectations are well defined across IS with no ambiguity.
Document approach for Windows and Office Suite update, communicate to organisation and coordinate timely execution. Manage relationships and coordinate work between different IS teams at different locations ensuring they have input and are part of the journey.
Proven experience as a Programme Manager or Application Owner of successfully driving forward Microsoft adoption, ideally within the Oil and Gas industry, although not essential.
In depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies – Windows, Office 365, Enterprise Mobility, Azure and Security.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders, including senior executives.
