Product Owner to define the strategic roadmap for Finance and HR Systems by leading the engagement with key business stakeholders.

As a Product Manager for HR & Finance Systems, you will play a key role in enabling the future of the HR and Finance teams within my client’s business. You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance and HR functions understand how they envisage their departments developing, so that you are able to work with them to evaluate, transform and enhance our HR and Finance software. You will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle, by working with 3rd parties to understand their product roadmaps to align strategies and oversee execution and delivery.

The Product Owner’s role is focused on their Finance & HR systems, these are mostly 3rd party applications which cover all elements of Finance, Asset & Lease Management and HR. The Product Owner will be managing Product Managers who are focused on individual Products / Applications, act as a primary strategic liaison between the business stakeholders and the 3rd party development teams, have a clear understanding of the different product visions and roadmaps and align agile delivery to deliver this vision. You will operate at a strategic level with business stakeholders, whilst overseeing an appropriate hierarchy of themes, epics, stories, and tasks and ensure that there is approval of user stories & acceptance criteria from those business stakeholders.

You will have prior experience of working as a Product Manager or Product Owner for Finance and/or HR systems, or alternatively worked as an accountant prior to moving into product management. You will have experience of working with internal or 3rd party agile delivery teams. You will bring strong stakeholder management experience and also experience in educating key stakeholders on how to operate with agile delivery teams.
