We are working on a Group Financial Controller position for a business which operates in renewables and infrastructure and is private equity owned. They provide industry-leading products and services for the renewable, nearshore construction and oil and gas sectors and are fast paced and can bring about change rapidly. They are a £600m-£700m company which is profitable & growing and is transitioning well from oil & gas to renewables.

Our client wants to strengthen the Group’s accounting and financial management with the appointment of an experienced Group Financial Controller level individual who will go from an Interim position to a Permanent one in short order.

They are looking for an accomplished FTSE 250 level group Financial Controller who can be hands on with cash as well as management reporting and who is readily available. The role can be home based but there is an expectation that you will be in the company’s East of England offices from time to time. A track record in running teams will be important as will the natural capacity to business partner.

We are therefore seeking an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified senior finance professional who has had several years’ experience in different industries and who has worked in both Plc and private equity situations. This opportunity will be a very good one for an ambitious and flexible individual who has the capability to understand the challenges ahead and will therefore hit the ground running.
