Services Forum titled “The Talent Dating Game… how can banks make themselves
the partner of choice?” Head of PSD's Banking and Financial Services Gail

address the skill gaps that IT teams face in the banking sector, and explore
the options for CIOs, and their teams, in meeting these challenges.
The forum will build on the
publication of Peru's recent report 'Turn
to Face the Change' which explores and addresses the changing
customer demands and increased competition within banking IT. The report
reveals that 41% of the technology bosses surveyed believe that the best
professionals are likely to be lost from the 'traditional' banking sector in
favour of the more 'exciting' GAFA (Google, Amazon, Facebook and Apple)
companies. In fact, GAFA companies are seen as even greater skills magnets
than the current Fintech start-ups (cited by 37% of respondents).
