On Sunday 22nd May members of the PSD Manchester office ran the Manchester 10km run.

It was a sunny morning (surprisingly), and together with 30,000 other runners we successfully arrived at the finish line. Simon, however, arrived at least an hour and a half early to soak up the atmosphere!

As the race got underway the atmosphere around the course, as always, was amazing. Banners, lots of cheering and spectators shouting out our names really helped us all get around the course.

Unfortunately at the 2km mark, Anthony took a fall and picked up a pretty nasty sprain which required medical attention, however the rest of us kept running.

To nobody's surprise, Terry won with a great time of 41 minutes - 50 seconds, and the dark horse Simon came in 2nd with a brilliant time of 44 minutes - 21 seconds. Everyone ran a great time and both Rachel and Jack managed to get around in 55 minutes or less, which was fantastic as both trained hard to finish in under 1 hour!

After the race we had a well-deserved drink thanks to Paysure, and the celebrations commenced!

Through running the race and an office cake sale (both activities don't necessarily go together, however some people like cake and some people like running) we have managed to raise just over our £500 target.

A big thanks to everyone who ran and those who supported us. Cash for Kids is an amazing charity and the money directly helps underprivileged kids in the Greater Manchester area.

It's not too late to support us via our just giving page.
